Peace of Mind Agency Fee
While other agencies collect part or all of the service fees before the match and medical screening, IVY Surrogacy will not collect service fees until the egg donor is medically and psychologically cleared.
Step 1 Match
Step 2 legal
Step 3 Egg retrieval cycle
When you use a fresh egg donor all the eggs you get from that donation are yours. When you buy a lot of frozen eggs that is all you get the amount you purchase. When considering using donor egg you should think about how many children you want to have and if you are doing genetic testing on your embryos. Due to attrition with fertilization and testing if you want more than one child a fresh donor is a better choice.
If you are picking a fresh donor and your agreement states that the donor is cycling just for you, then yes you get all the eggs from that cycle. This number can vary based upon many factors.
If a donor is of an ethnicity that is hard to obtain, a proven donor, has a higher education above college or is going to an IVY League University then the donor can request a higher compensation.
If your donor agrees to an open donation and is willing to meet, then yes, the agency can set up a meeting between you and the donor in a safe space. Some donors only want to be anonymous and that is ok too. Just make sure you pick a donor that is open to meeting you.
The clinic will do genetic testing on your donor based upon her family history and ethnicity. Also, you have the opportunity if you chose, to do genetic testing on your embryos as well. This will help prevent your future child from having a major genetic issue.
That’s a very difficult question to answer. It all depends on the donor you pick and the sperm you are using. If you pick a donor with similar physical qualities, you have a good chance that the baby you have will share some of the same looks you do. There is never a guarantee a baby will look like you even using your own genetics. Genetics is a funny thing.
If you pick a donor that is willing to travel, she can do her medical screening at your clinic, and start the medication prior to her egg retrieval close to home. When it comes time, the clinic needs her closer she will travel for 7-10 days and stay closer to your clinic for close monitoring, the egg retrieval procedure and a day or two afterwards.
The price for using an egg donor can vary. A typical compensation for a first-time donor can range from $6,500 on up. If you are using a proven donor, hard to find ethnicity, Elite Donor with high education at top 8 schools, then the costs for egg donor go up. The total costs for the donor can range from $40,000 and up depending on the donor and clinic you are using, including donor compensation, travel, attorney fee and fertility clinic cost, etc.
At IVY Surrogacy we do not collect any agency fee until your donor has passed psychological and medical screenings. The only money you are out is the money you paid for these procedures. If the donor does not pass you are not stuck working with us. If we have another donor that meets your needs, we are happy to help match you again, but if you have a second choice with another agency, we are not offended please go have the baby of your dreams.
