While this journey ultimately resulted in success after just one embryo transfer, the path getting there was not easy. During initial medical evaluations, the surrogateâs uterine lining was found to be thinner than ideal. Two mock cycles were completed to prepare, and one embryo transfer had to be canceled along the way.
At the final transfer, the endometrial thickness measured approximately 7.8 mmâjust under the commonly preferred threshold of 8 mm. After careful consideration, the physician and intended parents agreed to proceed. Thankfully, that decision led to a successful transfer, followed by a smooth pregnancy and a safe delivery.
