Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Ivy Surrogacy account (used in the Ivy Surrogacy app and at app.ivysurrogacy.com) and the personal data associated with it.

How to request account deletion

You can request deletion in either of the following ways:

• In the app or portal: sign in, then go to Settings → Delete Account, confirm with your password, and submit your deletion request.
• By email: if you cannot sign in, email contact@ivysurrogacy.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account.

What happens after you request deletion

• Your request is reviewed by our team.
• Once approved, your account is deactivated immediately so you can no longer sign in.
• Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. During this window you may contact us if you wish to cancel the request and restore your account.
• We confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

• Your account profile and login credentials.
• Contact details (name, email, phone, address) held for your account.
• Application content and uploaded files (documents and photos).
• Reproductive, pregnancy, and other application information you provided.
• Device push-notification tokens and any biometric sign-in credentials stored on your device.

What data is retained (and why)

We are legally required to retain certain records, so these are kept even after your account is deleted, and only for as long as the law requires:

• Signed agreements and legal documents — retained as required by applicable laws (typically 7+ years).
• Medical and financial records — retained where required by law or for legitimate compliance, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
• A minimal internal record of the deletion itself, kept for security and compliance.
