We are thankful to share the safe early arrival of a baby boy in Boise, Idaho, on November 2, 2025.
Born at 34 weeks via C-section, the baby weighed 4 pounds at birth and is currently stable and receiving attentive care in the NICU.
The surrogate, M, had a smooth medical screening and embryo transfer — success was achieved after just one embryo transfer. During the pregnancy, however, several complications arose. M was diagnosed with a short cervix, for which a cerclage procedure was performed to help prevent preterm labor. Later in the pregnancy, she developed preeclampsia, and more recently experienced premature rupture of membranes, which made an early delivery necessary.
Thanks to the close monitoring of her medical team and M’s strength and commitment, both she and the baby are doing well. The baby is breathing independently and does not require oxygen support, though doctors anticipate a stay of two to three weeks in the NICU for observation and continued growth.
We are deeply grateful to M for her remarkable resilience, patience, and care throughout this journey. Her dedication and compassion have made this new life possible and brought hope to a loving family.
