Egg Donor Requirements

Becoming an egg donor is a generous, life-changing decision. At Ivy Surrogacy, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our donors and the future families they help create. To maintain the highest standards of safety and effectiveness, we have established the following requirements for all egg donor applicants:

Age Range

Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old. This age range is crucial to ensure the health and viability of the eggs donated.

General Health

Donors must be in excellent physical health. This includes passing comprehensive medical and blood tests to screen for any conditions that could affect the donation process or the health of the eggs.

Psychological Well-being

Emotional stability is essential. All potential donors undergo psychological evaluations to ensure they are fully prepared for the emotional aspects of egg donation.

Body Mass Index (BMI)

Applicants should have a BMI between 18 and 26. This range is important for optimal hormonal response and successful egg retrieval.

Lifestyle

Donors must be non-smokers and free from recreational drug use. These substances can negatively impact fertility and egg quality.

Genetic Health

We conduct genetic screenings to detect common genetic disorders, ensuring the healthiest possible outcomes for the children born from donated eggs.

Commitment

The egg donation process requires dedication to a series of medical appointments, tests, and the egg retrieval procedure, within the span of several months. A strong commitment to completing all steps is necessary.

Tattoos and Piercings

Applicants should not have had tattoos or piercings within the last 12 months to minimize the risk of transmittable infections.

At Ivy Surrogacy, we deeply appreciate the commitment and altruism of our egg donors. If you meet these requirements and are interested in making a profound difference in the lives of others, we invite you to join our program. Together, we can help bring joy and fulfillment to families dreaming of a child.
