On May 29, 2026, a healthy baby boy made his arrival in Glendale, Arizona — 7 lbs 1 oz, 39 weeks and 2 days, and every bit worth the wait. But behind that calm set of numbers is one of the most determined birth stories we've had the honor to witness.
Labor lasted close to 30 hours. As the hours stretched on and progress slowed, the mood in the room grew tense, and by the end nearly everyone present believed a cesarean was the only way forward. And then, in a moment no one there will ever forget, he arrived — born vaginally, healthy and strong, against what almost everyone in that room had come to expect.
That outcome belongs, above all, to our gestational carrier. Her stamina, her composure, and her sheer determination through nearly a day and a half of labor were extraordinary. She never gave up on the delivery she hoped for, and she carried this little one safely into the world through it all. We are in awe of her strength, and endlessly grateful for everything she gave to make this day possible.
